Wow

So, I have been so busy trying to be a better wife and mom that I have been too busy to post on here.  Recently our internet went out for like 4 days and in that time I realized that I spend FAR too much time on my computer.  So, instead I have been making a point to walk away.  Walk away from emails, websites, Facebook, research on things about how to be a better wife and mom, even coupons.  Saving money is not worth loosing time with the kids.  So, I am only setting aside a small amount of time each day to be on the computer.  That means I only update this thing when I get a chance.  So, this is my chance, lol.

SO MUCH has changed since my last post.  Cara is FULLY crawling and is now pulling herself up to things.  She knows her name and understands when we say no or don't touch.  That does not mean she always listens.  But she does stop what she is doing and looks at us and many times will move on to something else.  She plays with her voice and "talks" most of the day.  She can feed herself cheerios now.  Peek-a-boo is a favorite game she plays, and even covers her own face.  She is so snuggly and a few days ago she started leaning up and giving kisses.  She lights up when she sees Isabella or Daddy.  She has even started to dance now.

Isabella is doing amazing.  She recognizes cats, dogs, monkeys, cows, frogs, turtles, fish, butterflies, bears, ducks, birds, rabbits, elephants, spiders.  She knows over 125 words now.  She knows many of her body parts like her: head, hair, nose, ears, mouth, lips, tongue, eyes, nose, teeth, cheeks, chin, back, bottom, knees, leg, arm, shoulder, elbow, foot, toes, fingers, hands.  Every day she amazes me with just how smart she is.  She learns so fast.  She is willing to try to say almost any word, eat almost any food, and imitate anything we ask her to.  She can jump, run, climb and dance.  She has a great personality.  Isabella is a sweet, kind hearted little lady.  She hugs and kisses Cara all the time and I am always reminding her she can't wrestle with Cara yet, lol.

Byron is doing well in school and is catching a vision as for what God would have him venture into next.  I am such a proud wife.  Seeing passion in his eyes for the things of the Lord just rocks my world.  I love having a husband who loves the Lord!

I am also doing well.  We have been getting out of the house a few times a week lately.  I have two friends who join me each week at a Bible study at the Protestant Women of the Chapel on base.  They are a great support system for me.  They are getting to know a more honest and, at times, raw side of me.  I love that.  I love having friends around me who love God.  It is encouraging, challenging and motivating.  I am finally starting to feel very connected here and it is great!

Life is good.  I love God, Byron and the girls.  We are so blessed to live where we do right now.  It is beautiful.  I love that when I drive Byron to work I get to stare at the Monterey Bay and the waves.  I love that the weather is pretty predictable and most of the time it is warm enough to walk almost anywhere.  I have been making great friends here and I am so blessed for the support I feel from them.
